The Other Side of the Wormhole

Inside the Tomb Mausoleum.

Luo Feng's face showed shock, and his body swayed involuntarily.

“Luo Feng, what’s wrong?” Chaos City Lord immediately noticed Luo Feng’s distress.

“My Demon Killer Clan avatar, which went in to explore, has fallen,” Luo Feng stated directly, a sense of dread in his heart. It was too terrifying. Even in dangerous places like the Universe Boat or the Tilted Peak Sector, if an area couldn't be probed, at least a 'vacuum' would appear in the probed domain, indicating an unexplorable region, which would alert Luo Feng to danger. But before, his domain had spread out, and everything was explorable. Yet, under such conditions, he was killed! Even his peak palace supreme treasure was silently shattered! Even if the energy within the 'Source' of the Wu Qi Wings were to forcefully shatter a peak palace supreme treasure, it would still require a powerful strike; it couldn't be done so silently.

“Fallen? How did it fall?” Chaos City Lord pressed.

“It must have been the wind,” Luo Feng said.

“Must have been?” Chaos City Lord was astonished.

“Because I didn’t see it, didn’t detect it at all,” Luo Feng shook his head. “My domain-type supreme treasure was completely normal, everything was explorable. The wind just appeared out of nowhere… my peak palace supreme treasure was instantly pulverized, and my divine body was also instantly shattered. The Demon Killer Clan avatar died just like that. There wasn't even time for a single struggle or resistance.”

Chaos City Lord was shocked. Even a peak palace supreme treasure couldn't withstand it? Wouldn't that mean anyone who went in would die? Unless they used a supreme true treasure to fight.

The Hong Alliance had a total of eight Universe Masters who went to explore. Luo Feng, having entered through the colossal entity's mouth-crevice, moved the fastest and fell the fastest.

Snow Crane Master, on the other hand, encountered fire, fire that appeared out of nowhere… the moment that fire appeared, Snow Crane Master’s top-tier palace supreme treasure was instantly annihilated. And the other Universe Masters…” Inside the Tomb Mausoleum Hall, as the last Universe Master sent to scout also fell, the Hong Alliance Universe Masters were engaged in a heated discussion.

All eight had fallen.

Some to wind, some to fire, some to mist…

Seven of them were instantly annihilated, utterly defenseless. Only one discovered an endless, overwhelming 'current of water.' The moment the water appeared, it solidified the surrounding space, making instantaneous teleportation impossible. As for the water itself, it easily corroded the top-tier palace supreme treasure, killing the Universe Master inside.

“Everyone,” Chaos City Lord began.

The hall immediately fell silent, with nearly 200 Universe Masters looking at Chaos City Lord.

“According to the information I’ve received, it’s not just our Hong Alliance; all other factions… anyone who ventured inside has entered an endless abyss,” Chaos City Lord said. “After entering, they couldn’t find any other environment, only endless abyss. Not to mention peak supreme treasures, even supreme true treasure palaces were destroyed within.”

“Supreme true treasure palaces?” A wave of gasps erupted.

“News just came in,” Chaos City Lord continued. “The Hai Clan from the First Reincarnation Era, in their desperate exploration, dispatched a supreme true treasure palace. It then encountered flames… and was directly incinerated, unable to resist even for a moment.”

Everyone was greatly alarmed. Luo Feng also sighed, equally shocked when he heard the news. A supreme true treasure palace incinerated? One must know… even some mechanisms within the Tomb Mausoleum, while capable of killing powerful beings hiding inside supreme true treasure palaces, couldn't destroy the supreme true treasures themselves. Yet, the terrifying abyss within this colossal entity had destroyed a supreme true treasure.

Chaos ensued.

Chaos City Lord’s expression suddenly changed, and he let out a sharp cry: “Everyone!”

Luo Feng also looked at his teacher in surprise, and all the powerful beings in the hall turned their gaze.

“News just arrived that several factions from the First Reincarnation Era have had powerful beings enter the natural wormhole within the endless abyss,” Chaos City Lord announced. Luo Feng’s eyes lit up. He had discovered the natural wormhole early on during his exploration but hadn't dared to venture into it rashly, continuing his exploration instead.

It seemed the First Reincarnation Era was more desperate, even daring to enter the natural wormhole, and the results must have been poor, otherwise, they wouldn't have made it public.

“What’s on the other side of the natural wormhole?” Snow Crane Master immediately asked.

Aside from Luo Feng, the other seven Universe Masters had also discovered that ‘natural wormhole.’ Because whether entering through the ears, nostrils, or mouth-crevice, one would eventually enter the endless abyss and pass by that massive natural wormhole.

Everyone was astonished, and Luo Feng was equally bewildered.

The natural wormhole inside the colossal entity actually led to a space containing a miniature universe?

The hidden space accessed via the natural wormhole is still within the humanoid creature,” Chaos City Lord quickly added. “And powerful beings from several factions of the First Reincarnation Era tried every method to explore that miniature universe. They sent mechanical puppets, used other means, and even entered themselves… but upon touching the membrane of that miniature universe, they all turned to dust and vanished.”

“Ah.”

“The miniature universe’s membrane is that powerful?”

“How is that possible?”

Inside the Tomb Mausoleum Hall, everyone was shocked, and even Luo Feng couldn't comprehend it. Usually, the membrane of a universe doesn't possess offensive power. When a Universe Supreme Master uses their ‘miniature universe’ to kill enemies, it's after the enemy has entered the miniature universe, and then they use the miniature universe’s primal power to kill. To be killed simply by touching the membrane was utterly inconceivable.

All forces in the Universe Ocean, no matter how they explored, all perished without exception. This absolute death toll… terrified all factions.

A message spread – the three Ancestral Gods of the Ancestral God Sect in the Original Universe were summoning all forces in the Universe Ocean to deliver a decree from the Original Universe’s primal will.

“What, the three Ancestral Gods?”

“The Ancestral Gods from the Original Universe, don’t they never leave the Original Universe?”

All sides erupted in commotion. The Ancestral Gods, who never entered the Universe Ocean, were here, and they were to deliver a decree from the Original Universe’s primal will. As he spoke, he pointed remotely at the massive, prone humanoid creature beside them.

“Upon entering, you will discover a natural wormhole. Entering this natural wormhole will lead you to a space. In that space, there is a miniature universe, and that miniature universe… is the ‘Jinzhi World’!” the venerable Ancestral God declared. “It is also the only place within the entire colossal entity where you can enter alive.”
