Chapter 1288

Alliance Meeting

“Galaxy Lord, rest assured, with this defeat, many of the scattered races that originally sided with the Insectoid, Monster, and Mechanical races will surely have a change of heart.” A Universe Master, with an earthy yellow upper body similar to a human’s and numerous octopus-like tentacles for lower limbs, spoke with a deep, echoing voice, “The alliance of the three races was never stable to begin with. Now that they’ve been defeated, it’s perfectly normal for some races to leave the alliance. The three races naturally wouldn’t dare to forcibly restrain them; if they did… it would surely provoke a backlash from many races. Once my race breaks away, we will naturally join the Hong Alliance.”

“Good!” Luo Feng nodded with a smile. “By joining the Hong Alliance, regardless of whether we win or lose the final war, humanity will guide you with some ancient civilization experiences on how to cultivate to become a Cosmic Ultimate Expert.”

“However, for now, I cannot release you. Once your race’s Qu Yan Master pledges allegiance, I will release you,” Luo Feng promised.

“I understand,” the alien with the octopus lower body replied obediently.

It was no joke; imprisoned within the Star Tower, with his life controlled by this Galaxy Lord, how could he dare to show any dissatisfaction?

Luo Feng leaned on the railing, gazing at the Thousand Treasures River rippling beneath the endless darkness, his expression solemn. Although he had just conversed individually with twelve alien Universe Masters and gained some insights, Luo Feng knew… that his success in making some scattered races defect and join them had a very subtle overall impact on the grand scheme of things. But even a mosquito, however small, is still meat. The human faction, currently in a predicament, had to seize every piece of meat and devour it fiercely!

“The allied forces of the three races were merely a rehearsal.”

“The real war hasn’t even begun yet.” Luo Feng felt immense pressure, looking at the boundless void in the distance.

The storm was coming.

A terrifying storm that would sweep across the entire Original Universe!

The defeat of the allied forces of the three races had far-reaching consequences.

It had both good and bad effects on the human race. The downside was that other hostile forces would elevate the human threat to a new level, likely fighting even harder! However, relatively speaking… the benefits outweighed the drawbacks, as those who intended to strike at humanity would certainly go for the kill anyway! And the advantages were numerous… the most important being the attraction of ‘neutral forces’ to their side!

In the Monster race’s territory, on an ordinary life planet called ‘Bloodfang Star,’ which was once the exclusive domain of an Immortal God of the Monster race, it had now become a venue for high-level discussions among six major powers.

On the beautiful grassland.

Six powerful consciousnesses converged here into avatars: the Monster race’s Dream Demon Ancestor and Shocking Demon Ancestor, the Insectoid race’s Empress, the Mechanical race’s Father God, the Prison race’s Demon Ancestor, and the Crystal race’s Saint Lord. These six Cosmic Ultimate Experts represented five of the nine super forces in the Original Universe.

“Why hasn’t the Northern Territory Alliance arrived yet?” The Demon Ancestor’s massive tail coiled around him, his crimson eyes scanning the surroundings.

“Our consciousness projection is naturally fast. The Northern Territory Alliance relies on God Kingdom teleportation and instant movement, so they’ll need a moment,” Shocking Demon Ancestor said in a low voice.

“After all, the true decision-makers of the Northern Territory Alliance aren’t the Northern Territory Alliance Leader, but rather those Universe Masters,” the Crystal race’s Saint Lord said slowly, then turned to look into the distance. “They’re here.”

They all sensed the fluctuations of instant movement; clearly, powerful beings were instantly arriving on this planet.

Buzz~~ Buzz~~ Buzz~~

Three figures flew in from the distance.

And landed instantly.

“All five races are here? Our Northern Territory Alliance is a bit late.” The leader of the three figures, whose entire body was crystalline like flowing water, was none other than the Star River Master. As arguably the most powerful individual in the entire Northern Territory Alliance, the Star River Master usually appeared as a ‘dark void’ figure, but since this meeting was with six Cosmic Ultimate Experts, he naturally revealed his true form.

“Star River Master, Black Lotus Master, Liu Lan Star Master,” the Mechanical race’s Father God spoke. “This is the first time I’ve seen all of you appear together.”

“This matter is of immense importance; how could the three of us not appear?” said the Black Lotus Master, whose body was encircled by layers of lotus leaves and whose head resembled a plant’s pistil.

These three were extraordinary.

The Northern Territory Alliance was a super-alliance, gathering a vast number of scattered races, with approximately a hundred Universe Masters! After all, an elite alliance like the Hong Alliance had only about forty Universe Masters. The sheer number of Universe Masters in a loose, super-large alliance like the Northern Territory Alliance was thus imaginable, and it was divided into numerous factions internally.

As for the Northern Territory Alliance Leader?

He was merely a figurehead, with both sides simply assisting each other.

Instead, the Star River Master, Black Lotus Master, and Liu Lan Star Master held the true influence. All three of them possessed ‘peak Fifth-tier’ combat power!

The Black Lotus Master represented the six major plant life races within the Northern Territory Alliance, forming a super-faction of their own. The Liu Lan Star Master was the spiritual leader of the ‘Liu Lan race,’ the largest race within the Northern Territory Alliance. And while the Star River Master was a special life form, he was renowned for his ability to reverse time and space for resurrection, having saved countless Universe Venerables from various races and widely bestowed favors. Within the Northern Territory Alliance, he held a position somewhat akin to the Chaos City Lord in the human race, handling many matters with extreme fairness and earning the support of many smaller races, representing a coalition of ‘special life powerhouses’ and ‘small race powerhouses.’

These three were the three major factions within the entire Northern Territory Alliance. Their agreement signified the agreement of 95% of the races in the Northern Territory Alliance.

Such loose alliances were like this; their unity was clearly inferior to that of forces like humanity, the Monster race, or the Prison race.

“Since everyone is here, let’s begin,” Shocking Demon Ancestor roared in a low voice. “As you know, in the previous battle, our Monster race, along with the Insectoid and Mechanical race alliance, was defeated by the human alliance. The impact of Luo Feng’s gains from the Duan Dong River lineage inheritance on humanity is already evident. Will-shocking treasures, the Black Prison Tower, and many other treasures—the human race simply didn’t possess these before!”

“Indeed, before, who had ever possessed a will-shocking treasure? We hadn’t even heard of them. Things like the Black-Patterned Stone Pillars were unique artifacts that couldn’t be moved at all.”

“The human race’s power has indeed grown significantly.”

“Just how many benefits did the human race gain from that Duan Dong River lineage inheritance?”

Just as everyone was conversing.

“These are all secondary!” the Mechanical race’s Father God suddenly interjected, causing the other five Cosmic Ultimate Experts and three Universe Masters to look at him.

“The inheritance, its true value lies in the cultivation experience and guidance!” the Mechanical race’s Father God said slowly. “With cultivation guidance, I believe the human race will produce even more Cosmic Ultimate Experts in the future! Even the God-Eye Clan once had seven; with humanity receiving an ancient civilization’s inheritance, it’s possible they could have ten or even more Cosmic Ultimate Experts!”

“Back in the First Reincarnation Era, the God-Eye Clan was incredibly tyrannical in the Original Universe, occupying vast territories.”

“As the human race grows stronger, they are destined to occupy more territories. The more territories they have, the more life forms they will nurture, the more geniuses will emerge, and the more powerhouses will be born… More powerhouses, larger territories… This will create a cycle, causing human influence to continuously expand.” The Mechanical race’s Father God stated solemnly, “How strong will humanity become in the future? Imagine the God-Eye Clan’s situation back then, amplified threefold!”

Threefold?

Silence fell upon all parties for a moment.

The God-Eye Clan once had seven Cosmic Ultimate Experts, occupying an incredibly vast expanse of cosmic territory. What if it were threefold?

Twenty-one Cosmic Ultimate Experts? Three times their territory?

“Then the territories of our five great peak races wouldn’t even be enough if we gave them all to humanity,” the Demon Ancestor said, exuding an evil and mad aura. “This, absolutely cannot be allowed to happen.”

“The Original Universe’s territory is only so vast, and it can only nurture so many life forms! Humanity’s expansion will naturally be accompanied by the weakening of other races,” the Mechanical race’s Father God continued. “Before, I didn’t think humanity’s threat was that great, but now, they’ve just received an inheritance and already defeated the alliance of three races. If we give them more time… I fear that all other forces in the entire Original Universe combined wouldn’t be able to contend with humanity! At that point, the Original Universe would likely be dominated solely by humanity. It would be too late for us to regret it then.”

“Yes, yes.”

“If they can defeat the three-race alliance now, how terrifying will they be in the future?”

Even the Star River Master said, “This absolutely cannot be allowed to happen.”

After the Mechanical race’s Father God spoke, the six forces quickly reached a consensus. Territory was the foundation of their respective races; humanity’s expansion would naturally lead to their territories shrinking and their decline.

“Our six great forces…” the Insectoid Empress’s gentle voice began slowly, “can easily unite because we all occupy extremely important and vast territories in the Original Universe. But other forces are different. For example, the Ancestral God Sect is purely a gathering of many special life forms, and their only territory is the Ancestral God Secret Realm, with no territorial conflict with humanity! The Starry Sky Behemoth Alliance is even more detached; when those weaker starry sky behemoths are born, they drift and wander through the cosmos… they don’t need much territory at all. As for the lone Cosmic Ultimate Experts, they have even less need for territory.”

“Hmm.”

“Indeed, the struggle for territory makes it easy for us to unite. But the lone Cosmic Ultimate Experts, the Starry Sky Behemoth Alliance, and the Ancestral God Sect won’t care as much. They value the inheritance of transcending reincarnation more! If humanity tries to win them over, it’s very likely they’ll defect! In that case, even our six great forces united wouldn’t be enough.”

“Therefore, we must unite all forces that can be united. All lone Cosmic Ultimate Experts, the Ancestral God Sect, and the Starry Sky Behemoth Alliance must be courted as much as possible. I refuse to believe humanity would reveal the secret of transcending reincarnation to them, and even if they did, it might not be true.”

“Moreover—”

“The largest force in the entire Original Universe isn’t any of our nine great forces, nor is it the lone Cosmic Ultimate Experts. It’s the countless scattered races dispersed across various territories in the Original Universe. These scattered races number in the billions; among them, the powerful ones might only have one or two Universe Masters, but all combined, there could be hundreds of Universe Masters. However, because they are too dispersed and only form small alliances, what we need to do is try our best to win them over.”

The threat of humanity’s potential dominance, likened to the ancient God-Eye Clan, was indeed significant. However, a trump card only yields its maximum effect when not exposed, but now that it has been revealed, there are naturally many ways to counter it and minimize the threat.

“Billions of races, each weak and inconspicuous, with the strongest only having one or two Universe Masters. But all combined, their territories are vast. Humanity’s future expansion will likely exterminate them and occupy their territories. Based on this point, we can win over many scattered races.”

The six major forces conversed and deliberated among themselves.

They sought every possible method to strengthen their own forces and weaken the opposing side.
